Compared with PC, PC/PE alloy has the following advantages:
1, in a wide range of use conditions will only show plastic failure, residual stress reduction, stress cracking resistance to improve, at room temperature, its impact strength is 3~4 times of PC.
2. Excellent boiling water resistance. After being treated at 100 ℃ for 240 hours, the tensile strength and bending strength are almost unchanged, and the tensile strength is more than 3 times of the PC treated under the same condition.
3, good aging resistance, after 120 ℃, 140 hours of treatment, its impact strength is still more than 2 times of PC.
Good weather resistance, outdoor exposure for 2 years, almost unchanged tensile strength and bending strength, impact strength of more than 4 times of PC.
Five, melt viscosity is reduced by 1/3, so the molding temperature can be lower, easy to form, residual stress reduction, product color is also better. In addition, the melt viscosity of the blend decreased obviously with the increase of the molding pressure, which also improved the molding property.
