YVO4晶体（钒酸钇）是用提拉法生长的单轴晶体。它具有良好的机械和物理性能，由于其较宽的透过范围和较大的双折射，并易于加工，是光学偏振器件的理想选择。YVO4双折射晶体被广泛应用于光纤通信领域，是光通信无源器件如光隔离器、环形器，旋光器、延迟器、偏振器中的关键材料，同时在光束位移器，格兰偏振器和其他偏振光学器件等许多应用中都是方解石（CaCO3）和金红石（TiO2）晶体的优良合成替代品。

The yttrium orthovanadate (YVO4) is a positive uniaxial crystal grown with Czochralski method. It has good mechanical and physical properties and is ideal for optical polarizing components because of its wide transparency range and large birefringence.
