Operational principle

The evacuated tube collector consists of collecting box with heat transfer unit. The insulated collecting and distribution pipes are located inside the collecting box. The advance or return co nnection can take place alternatively on the left or o n the right. In each evacuated tube there is a copper pipe with direct flow-through that is connected in such a way to the collecting or distribution pipe that each individual evacuated tube exhibits the same hydraulic resistance. This pipe is pressed to the inside of the evacuated tube with the heat guide plate.
　　The selective coating in the inner cover of the evacuated tubes ensures high energy absorption and low heat radiance losses, which convert solar energy into heat energy and transfer to copper tubes by fins. The medium (water or anti-freezing liquid) in the metal tube has been heated up, and conduct the heat energy to the water inside the storage tank through plate heat exchanger. The controlling system can control also the condition of heat exchanging between collector loop and the water in the storage tank.
The evacuated tube collector with coppertubes can be quasi-tracking in four seasons; the collector will be in operation as long as sun shines. This collector can be in service all year around even in cold climate areas in combination with fuel or electricity.。
